Emerging Christian artist Mackenna Swann has a distinct R&B and pop sound. A Belmont University Alum, her passion for singing and songwriting faced a tough challenge when at age 11, she was diagnosed with a rare bone condition and told she might never walk again. After many knee surgeries and spending years in a wheelchair, she found solace in music, using it as an outlet from her physical pain.
Once she regained the ability to walk, she committed to sharing her music and testimony with the world; opening for artists like Kelly Clarkson. Shortly after signing with Rixon Entertainment Group, she released her breakout Mother's Day single;
"I'll Always Love You, Mom," which quickly became her most streamed song. Now, exploring a new sonic chapter, she has released several groovy, uplifting singles. Her newest song, "Can I Get an Amen" is out now.
